Hello! I’m Miguel Gómez, founder of CONEXIÓN OAXACA – Escuela de Español para Extranjeros. I created this project to make learning Spanish not only effective, but also deeply connected to culture and community.

I’m a certified Spanish and English instructor with over a decade of experience helping learners of all ages and backgrounds around the world.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics in TESOL. I also have an International Diploma in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) and a Spanish Grammar Certificate for Teachers, both awarded by institutions affiliated with the Instituto Cervantes network. In addition, I’ve studied French, which gives me firsthand insight into the joys and challenges of language learning.

Based in Oaxaca, Mexico, I combine my passion for teaching with the rich cultural heritage of my region. Through Conexión Oaxaca, I aim to share not just Spanish grammar, but the life, warmth, and rhythm of the Spanish-speaking world. Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my three dogs, being in nature, and connecting with people from all walks of life.
